Just putting up a quick "driving to work" video and discussing what happened to me on the first day of using Retin-A. Right after putting it on my face at night, the very next morning I woke up to a huge blister on my lip. This cold sore came out of no where. Before this, I had not had an outbreak for a number of years....over 5 at least that I can remember. I do have the Herpes Simplex virus that I got a number of years ago, but it has not bothered me for a very long time. So what the F is going on with all this? Can the harsh chemical being so close to my lip have had a bad reaction? I also did some research on the subject....see the articles that I found below. Let me know your comments and thoughts.
